In this new age of social engineering and far left liberalism, we have encountered a new strain of contradiction. A wave of female empowerment and the prominent union of women, standing together in divine feminine power that has manifested the shadow aspect of these well intended narratives to glow between the cracks. From this, we have unfortunately seen the ironically hypocritical views against women by the same women who demand female empowerment and equality.

“Pick Me” is one of those shadows.

When defining the term “Pick Me” in the Urban dictionary, we find many definitions. In these definitions the meaning is more or less the same, meaning of a woman who is:

“Willing to do anything for male approval. She will embarrass or throw other women under the bus to achieve this goal.”

The term was created in 2018 and gained popularity from 2019 and 2020 to put women down by saying they are putting other women down by wanting to show they make good partners or female companions for men. The term in the description above, shows the same type of energy that the person who is calling another woman a “pick me” is against.
